I started learning how the system works, and what makes the solar panels work better, or worse in certain conditions. I learned all about how the equipment was developed and manufactured for use specifically for solar panels. There was so much to learn about it! And so many different kinds of equipment that’s available today that wasn’t even available ten years ago. And the more I learned about batteries and inverters, the more I wanted to learn about them, so eventually, I made my way over to the manufacturing side of things.
How I Found A Career In Sustainable Renewable Energy
Since I was a kid, I’ve always been interested in the world and the issues affecting it. Energy has always been one of my interests. My story with solar started completely by chance after I read Paul Gilding’s book “The Great Disruption”. In his book, he mentions how it will all come down to different energy sources in the future. This struck me so much because it was at that time that I was doing a huge personal soul-searching, It made sense to me that I already have a background in electrical and this was something I can do to be able to change the world in good ways, so it was an obvious choice for me.
When I was just starting, I was working for some local sales companies, some of those companies are into solar and battery space since the 1970s. Some of them are the pioneers of solar and batteries in the field.
I have been working with different scenarios in order to solve customer problems by implementing energy storage systems. This is clearly a growing sector and there will be new job opportunities in it. To sum things up, the expectations are that in order to have control of our energy future, it’s going to come down to new technology which will rely on different sources. One of these sources is going to be solar, wind, geothermal, and other similar sources. Everyone needs energy to live but we can not just keep on depending on fossil fuels.
The big difference between my company and other companies is that we take a custom approach to each project by designing it based on the customer’s needs. We first try to understand what your needs are and then work on finding an optimal solution. I truly feel blessed that I have found a service that has so many positive impacts on our environment and our wallets. The other thing that I love about this industry is how fast it is growing and how much potential there is still.
I do feel that it was important to share my story so that others can see how easy it is for someone even outside of the industry or even a younger person to get involved and have that pivotal effect on sustainable renewable energy.
